Below was a post I made at 3am last Friday, June 9. Caffeine was still kicking and I just started typing these words instead of finishing off what I was doing….
Sometimes, we are faced with insecurities as we wait on God’s answer for a mate. Well, this even gets worst if we find ourselves liking someone. This is reality…
Sometimes the waiting season — especially the length of it — makes us ask God whether we are good enough… but take heart. It’s not you who is working, nor you who needs to impress. It is God.
We have to be more focused on the Promise Maker than the promise. Christ has always been the reward.
The Post
You are a challenge…
The fact I know you exist makes me wonder if I am good enough…
If I can be that woman you prayed for
If I am and if I fit in your world.
but then again… maybe you are thinking the same thing…
maybe you are wondering if you are good enough too.
and we both have to be careful.
to guard our hearts more
to be more open to what is in store.
Because there’s the fact that worrying if we both fit in each other’s lives makes us lose our focus on Him.
We have to trust that this is all a phase
and that one day we’ll realize how everything had to happen
for that moment we are to finally meet…
…or maybe we have met already…
pursuing other things — or people….
All we can be assured of is this phase will soon be over
so let’s just enjoy and make the most out of this waiting
For when it’s finally time it would be perfect
it would be grand
… it would glorify Him who shaped this with His hand…
