We are at a time when worry and fear has gripped us all. While it may have been present for a long time, Covid-19 has gotten us all in a tight grip of worry since it has hit us all globally. But now, more than ever is not the time to panic…
FORWARDING HOPE — Our provincial governor has recently declared class suspension on all levels for 30 days. On top of that, the locals are encouraged to stay at home more and to avoid crowded places. For those who came from Manila before it lockdown, they are required to conduct self-quarantine… in other words I am not to go out and stay more at home than ever since I am a sickly person (I have asthma)…. I have no problem with that since I’m an introvert and I’m a digital missionary.
Anyway, with that said, some stuff are removed from my time…which means I can do something I have always wanted to do without worrying about the time it might take nor what I need to prioritize… like blog more…
I was re-watching Crash Landing On You (guilty of being a Ri-Ri Couple / BinJi Couple fan here) a few minutes ago as a way to remove stress from all the worry I see in the internet…. and as I came to Episode 8, I was reminded how this show has been so viral recently and sending butterflies to all its viewers! Where is this post going? Well, I have 30 days of time away from school, more time to blog, 30 days of doing a new habit while at home, an internet connection, and a dream to one day have a published book… what better way to get me going than by doing what this blog has always been about — WRITE AND GIVE HOPE!
For the next 30 days, of course there are things I wish to accomplish and start…
- Start my daily devotion
- Clean the house
- Do some exercise (to improve my immune)
- Catch up with my case digest (I still have a few)
- work and hopefully find a new client
- Catch up on my review for school
- Do some artwork and calligraphy
- and fix this blog
Of course, my list would include at least re-watching some Crash Landing On You and Cheese in the Trap (as much as I want to re-watch Kingdom 2 because I love it but I don’t like thinking of the zombie — they did a great job looking scary — so its a “no” unless Im with my brother).
For the next 30 days, starting tomorrow, I’m sharing some love through this post in hopes it will uplift people’s spirit and be reminded of the fact God remains sovereign and powerful amidst the virus. I’m still thinking of a title but for the meantime, I’ll create a different category in my blog with the name “COVID 19” (SEO wise and of course related wise).
I ask for prayers as I do this (for wisdom, encouragement, good health, and inspiration from the Lord). I also encourage other bloggers to do the same. With so many fake news, and lesser news on hope, many are filled with grief and fear. What if we change such perspective and send cheer to many.
