It’s Good to be with People

“No one succeeds alone. No one.”

Today has been a rather draining and challenging one. Despite my excitement on new experiences, my patience was tested… or should I say I learned how much I can endure.

Today I discovered something about me too: I love working with a team….

I can work solo and with a team, but earlier I realized why I love pursuing something with people…It heightens my desire to take care of people and be better at what I do.

I saw how my friend pushed herself this week despite her time and energy being compromised at work because of something which isn’t her fault. I also saw how I might not be able to care for another team member’s needs if I had said “yes” on other things. I also saw the areas I need to improve at and the system of work we do… but in all these I saw how God, once I pray about talking to someone, would calm me…

I also saw how and where I should adjust on things, what I can give more and where I should limit the giving especially when it has become abusive…

I learned a lot today… how to care for both your team and client because everything should be balanced.

I realized I know how and when to say NO as well.

I’m glad I’m not working alone…I thought it was for accountability but I realized it was also teaching me to care deeply.

Now I want to lead more and take on projects. It may be stressful but in every area even if we think we’ve done enough, there’s still something we can improve and be better on including practicing compassion.
