Dear Reader,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
For my first post this 2021, I’d like to share the changes I’ll be making in this blog. As you can see, not all areas in this blog has been changed since I shifted from Possible Maybe Unexpected, Chasing Possibilities, Trippin On Crutches then back to Possibly Maybe Unexpectedly again…
Originally this blog is Possibly Maybe Unexpectedly. I started this blog to uplift people’s spirits with motivating and inspirational stories and reflections even on moments we find mundane. As I met Christ Jesus and accepted Him as my Lord and Savior, it slowly shifted to more than just an inspirational/motivational blog. You can find reflections, realizations, and a series of random thoughts I have on what God wanted me to share…. but then I stopped…work and studies took most of my time till eventually I went on a long break from writing. Whenever I’d try to come back, this blog name changes — including the domain. Last year, with the desire to get me back on track with writing, I changed my domain to my name, and went back to this blog’s original name.
If there is one thing I was sure God called me to do, it was to write for Him. This was my gift and best way to minister to people. Seeing more post this year confirmed that even if my blog needed some tidying including my Home Page images. I have also been praying of finally purchasing a domain name (a dream since I started this blog), and this last December I finally found myself looking at the domain name price and even the motivation to do it….
As of this writing, I’m currently checking how to do it, waiting for my Paypal account to finally have funds (I can’t use my other online payment resources huhuhu), and even checking which domain name. I wanted to continue using my name but somehow I felt there was something better… Maybe because I’m an online copywriter, and knowing about SEO made me realize my website name must be similar to its domain name. That’s when I took the courage to finally set my mind on Chasing Possibilities.
Chasing Possibilities used to have its own website. It was once funded by a friend who partnered with me and was supposed to be the new Possibly Maybe Unexpectedly. For some reason I wasn’t able to update it and we both went busy. Despite stopping, one thing was for sure — I was still using the original logo which was designed by my friend, Calligraphy artist Ate Tintin Gonzales of Tinta Tintin, who gifted it to me. The butterfly was based on the Possibly Maybe Unexpected butterfly concept — a memory of my mom. Since I was still using it as my personal logo, I decided to contact the friend who funded Chasing Possibilities’ website back then and told him I was using the name again but this time as my personal blog…. thus brings us to this post…
Dear Reader, for the next day’s you’ll be noticing changes to this blog — perhaps the changes will be noticeable for the next months to come. I’ll be changing the domain and blog name to Chasing Possibilities — other than the looks of course. I’ll also be organizing categories to fit items that can hopefully help readers in their journey… I’m not aiming to be a self-help content here but rather one that provides more than practical and applicable values.
Whatever the changes this blog will have, know that this is still dedicated to the Lord. Some content may be Christian, others may not. You may even find food, books, and even my calligraphy but know this is for the Lord. I simply have many interest to be honest (and if it wasn’t for the pandemic, I might even be sharing about travels and law school too). I’ll also be sharing tips and things I learned since last year which has helped me in achieving my 2020 goals.
Anyway, that’s all I wish to share…. I’ll be making changes..
Expect within this week this blog’s url will be from chasingpossibilitiesbyjen.wordpress.com to chasingpossibilities.wordpress.com. Once I settle my account, eventually this will be chasingpossibilities.com except if there’s an issue with the domain name again.
Dear Readers please pray for me as I pursue this. May only what God wanted me to do be pushed through and may my blog name change and the improvements herein be inn accordance to His will alone — I pray to serve more those who He leads me to serve.
May this blog bless more people more than it has blessed me.
GOD BLESS BELOVED!
